Greener Every Day

It is getting greener every day this spring.  I love winter, but after ten months of it, I really look forward to spring.  All of a sudden I’ve noticed the grass beginning to grown in the farmers fields.  With a little April rain, the fields are bursting with green.  Here I’ve taken a picture of some heifers who are glad to be out grazing after being in a barn all winter!  This is on my drive to work, by the way.  How great is that!

Winter Comes to Vermont

The weather has changed and Winter has certainly come to Vermont.  While just last week we had weather in the 60’s, we now have had weather in the teens and twenties for about a week.  Vermonters awoke to snow this Saturday morning – from a dusting in some places to almost a foot of snow in other places.  This means ski season has begun with many mountains opening this weekend.  Now is the time to book your winter ski vacation!
